Default 07 Tahoe Door Panel removal

Has anyone removed the a pillars & door panels from a 07 lt Tahoe? Mine has power locks, windows etc and needs to have an upgrade done to the component speakers. I know there are some things that need to be pryed off but Im kinda leary of attacking the panels with a panel removal tool without knowing for sure what to pry and what not to pry.
My plans call for replacement of the front components and the rear door 6.5 with co-axials. A small 50x4 amp will add the needed omph.

Thanks in advance for your assistance. At my age (62) I need all the assistance I can get.

Respectfully,

Jimmy Ray

Welcome to the forum. Try searching door panel or door handle. There's an old thread that describes the removal process.

Those look nice and plastic too. No more wrapping with tape.

How do you remove the door lock as shown in diagram 1A? http://www.kwmuth.com/techsupport/pdfs/21001330.pdf

I tried to pry on the small square piece on the plastic lock, but felt like it was going to break? What's the trick? Thanks in advance.

The plastic locking studs really are not meant to be reused, thou you might get them to work after one removal, your local auto parts store probably carry them or the dealership parts will have them.
Get new ones and save yourself the headache of dealing with the used ones that will not seat properly and will lead to rattles later on.
