Default Engine casting and VIN decoding

In my search for info on my engine I found some good souces for decoding engine casting numbers. I thought that maybe the forum would find these interesting. Some of the info came from camaro specific site but they list alot of complete info on lots of other vehicles. Here are a few links.

I know some of these pages are almost the same but it seems that some of the links to other parts differ on certain pages and I wanted to give as much info and maybe someone will find it helpfull.
