Default Anti-Knock Sensor

Hi,
Can someone tell me where the anti-knock sensor is on a 2001 Chevy Silverado? Also, is there a way to test the sensor or do I just replace it?
Thank you!

5.3 liter? If so under the intake. To test you need a DVOM set on the AC voltage scale. Put the red wire on the knock sensor and the black wire on ground. Tap/ hit the engine block with a metal hammer as close to the sensor as you can. If the sensor is working it will generate AC voltage the harder the knock the higher the voltage.
