I have the 5 spoke style stock 20" polished aluminum's on my tahoe I was wondering if anyone polishes or waxes theirs? To clean them i use wheel cleaner and a soft brush but may switch to MF cloth as im told they scratch easily. Any recommendations?

Meguiars has great polishes. I haven't had a chance to polish mine yet.

Mothers Mag aluminum polish! Only way to go also use a mothers powerball!

If your wheels are uncoated try Never-Dull, I had a vehicle with uncoated polished aluminum wheels and with a little work they will look like chrome!

The stock 20" five spoke polished aluminum wheels are clear coated and should not have anything used on them that you wouldn't use on the body paint. Also you should have the wheels balanced w/ stick-on weights on the inside as external, clip=on weights will wear thru the clear coat and the aluminum will oxidize. Looks real ugly.

I use flitz on chrome and aluminum. Works great.

I didnt know that. Ive had the flitz for so long now all the warnings on the tube are long gone lol. It's been years sence ive had something with chrome. I figured what the heck lets try it on the alunimum too. Guess i wont do that again.

It's fine on any non-coated metal or plated metal. Just shouldn't use on clear coated wheels.
