Humming noise from front end
I own a 2002 Impala, 3.8. There is a loud humming noise coming from the front end. When I turn right the noise stops, but when I straighten it out it starts back up again. There are no clunking or clicking sounds. The wheel hubs have been changed twice in the last year, and the outer tie rods have also been changed. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be. We took it to a front end specialist and they said the wheel hub, outer tie rods, and the left arm bushing needed to be changed. Would the arm bushing cause the loud humming noise. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The humming noise has to be one of the front hub bearings, most likely the left. The bearings are the only thing that would hum and go away when turning. A chopped tire could hum but usually does not go away when turning.
