Default cooling fan problem

i was recently in a minor accident and bashed the front drivers side quarter panel. It also bent my radiator so i had to replace it. Since then my fan has never turned on.
i took the fan out and it turns on when i hook it up to a battery. there is no power at the wire that plugs into the fan. i checked the fuses and they look okay. there is power at the smaller red fuse marked cooling fan, but there is no power at the big grey fuse also marked cooling fan. i also checked the wire that goes to the radiator fluid resovior and there is power there also. this is all with the car runnin for about 5 mins.
also my air conditioner is not working either. I dont know if this is because the fan won't turn on or because its an old air conditior bought from a junkyard.
i havent spent much time on this yet but there are no obvious tares in any visible wires
any help is appreciated
