Default p0404

I felt a few tug on my way home from camp going up a hill and just didn't seem to have it's normal power even on the flat. I see I have a P0404 code and a random cylinder misfire code. The P0404 that mean I should replace my EGR valve? Any advice on this thread would be great.

It could be possible that your EGR is stuck open which could set the code. It might be the EGR valve or it could be stuck open due to carbon build-up. If you can pull it and see if it's clogged up.

Thanks! My buddy has a AAMCO trans shop and hooks me up. Next week she's gonna have one of her guys try and clean the egr valve before we put a new one on.
