Default Help! how to disconnect fuel lines at tank? SOLVED!

tank down, can't figure how to disconnect the lines from the sender/module?? not the usual plastic squeeze fitting

Update: got them. had to get this special tongs-like tool from Advance...only 7.00..

Default fuel tank

its easier to raise the bed then drop the tank but since you dropped tank id cut hole in bed above tank nd weld hing to it trust me ive changed many pumps and that is simple if you plan on keeping truck a while and if you have a bed liner to hide door

Glad you were able to get it, post a picture of the tool you used, it might save someone else some time and trouble...

i made the mistake of just pulling it off and every now and then it popsoff and fuel goes everywhere and i have to crawl under there and pop it back on wont do that again
