Default Seat hurts my back

I am shopping for a cobalt to be used as my work car. I have been searching all I can on them and I like what I see. So went for a test drive yesterday to see how they drive.

It was a 2010 4door LT (I think) everything did fine but after about 2 miles my back started to hurt. Pulled over played with the seat for a few mins but nothing felt right so drove it back to the lot. I adj the a few more times but it just won't go away.

My question is anyone else notice this issue, could it be bad seat, or just not the right car for me?

I would recommend taking a different one for a test drive and see if it just that specific one, or if it is all of the Cobalt's. Let us know what you find.

I think it is a important fact of what are you replacing??.If you have a big car that you are downsizing from, there might not be a good fit for you.Other thing is is,well, how big are you??.If you can answer those questions,we might be able to better help you.Let us know.

I am hoping to drive another this weekend.

As for what I am replacing it 2002 escort. So it is the same size or maybe smaller. I'm not a small guy 235 pounds and 6 feet tall.

Well, ergonomicts. If your not comfortable in that car, not anything else you can do with that model. I myself would prefer a Mark 4 Lincolin, but my Delta 88 is also great. Trying to find a newer model non sardine can is tough. Short of a van I don't know.

Drove another 2010 today and at first it was nice but after a few mins I could feel the pressure in the small of my back again.

That is very sad I like the idea and price of the cobalt. Might try a 2008 or 2009 before I rule them out.
