Default Issue with heated seat - pleas help!

I have a 2003 LT Suburban, all of a sudden as soon as you turn the truck on the driver side heated seat turns on by itself, then it goes from high to medium to low and then stars all over again, all on its own!!! What the heck?!! If we turn it off manually it stays off for like a few minutes and then starts again.

Actually ours stopped doing it after two days. Our guess is that hubby left the window open while it was raining and some how water got to it.

Did you check the fuse?

Curious as to what the fuse would have to do with it?
Its just a fuse, its good or bad thats all.
Thanks,
Lee

Yeah, it would be a relay, not a fuse. The symptoms you describe sounds like the computer controlling a timer is confused. Mine has recently started to not heat the seat, just the back, If I turn the back on, its works great, if I turn the bottom and back, it clicks off after about 30 seconds.
